Der Mond Energies invested in establishing and developing Der Mond Academy, a specialized institution focused on continuous HSE training.
The primary goal of the Academy is to enhance the employability of Senegalese and Mauritanian workers and to support the growth of both local and international companies.
Our challenge is to prepare the workforce to meet the high standards of the Energy sector and ensure the inclusion of Senegalese and Mauritanian labor in emerging markets. The first phase of development, in partnership with IOTA TECHMA, targets Senegal and addresses the opportunities created by recent oil and gas discoveries.

We can also offer solutions to any specific requests such as setting up an ISO system, or in carrying out your QHSE audits.
The construction of a dedicated training center, on an area of 12,000 m², located in DIASS (5 minutes from AIBD airport) is in progress. It will offer state-of-the-art facilities designed to provide comprehensive and advanced training. These facilities are tailored to meet the specific needs of the industry and ensure that trainees receive the best possible education and hands-on experience.

After 10 years of working as Der Mond Precious Metals & Stones, a commodity trading company, Ms. Khadijah A. Ba, decided to move forward with the establishment of Der Mond Mining. With a full license to bid from any government worldwide and the possibility to be allocated a parcel of land to explore, research, produce and refine all metals or/and precious stones found on this land, Der Mond Mining is allowed to commercialize and distribute these products and to develop any activities related to these services such as logistics and shipping.
